While respecting the emotions and narrative of the original songs, the band has elevated them to a new level of expression with their signature beautiful and rich arrangements.
An instrumental band garnering attention for their sound that traverses post- jazz, post-classical, and post-rock, Gecko & Tokage Parade releases a 12-inch LP of covers from the globally beloved indie game 'UNDERTALE' titled 'TOKAGE plays UNDERTALE'!
Featuring piano, guitar, bass, and drums, the ensemble reimagines beloved tracks including ASGORE, Death by Glamour, Snowy, MEGALOVANIA, and Hopes and Dreams. While honoring the emotion and narrative of the originals, the arrangements elevate them into something new—beautiful and layered, in the distinctive style of Gecko & Tokage Parade.
Since forming in 2013, they have steadily released works through their own label Tokage Records and Playwright. Their genre-defying musicality and precise ensemble playing have earned high acclaim, from 2023's 5th album 'Heart of Tokage' to their latest 2025 release 'Rawment' . Recently, they held the nationwide tour "Rawment Release Tour 2025," continuing to expand their world through live performance.
This standout release will strongly appeal not only to game music fans, but also to listeners of contemporary jazz, post-rock, and electronica.
