He subsequently won the grand prize in several provincial and national piano competitions. \u003cbr\u003e\n \nAugustine completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal with high distinction, and received his Graduate Performance Diploma as a full scholarship student at The Boston Conservatory. While at The Boston Conservatory, Augustine won first prize at the annual Concerto Competition, earning him a performance of Gershwin’s Concerto in F with The Boston Conservatory Orchestra, conducted by Bruce Hangen at Harvard University’s Sanders Theater. He has also performed on numerous occasions as part of The Boston Conservatory’s Piano and Chamber Music Honors Concerts. \u003cbr\u003e\n \nAugustine recorded for the CBC after having been selected through the competitive “auditions jeunes artistes d’Espace musique de Radio-Canada”. With this second UNDERTALE Piano Collections, the goal was to revisit the world of Undertale and cover some themes that we didn’t get to explore the first time around, and create some opposing versions of some familiar motifs.
As a result, the general feeling of this selection is as if exploring more of the experience and atmosphere of a "genocide run”. Retaining the idea of merging both classical music and video game arrangements, while also continuing the musical language and ideas from the first piano collections, we hope you enjoy these pieces!
