the vinyls is great, and I didn't experience any skipping. So why did I give it 4 stars? The edges on one of the records came sliiiiightly damaged. Not enough to have any effect on the playing of the record itself, but enough to scrape my hand when picking it up. I don't believe this is any fault of materia though. Overall, I love this record, and after the first playing, I definitely plan to play it more often. I'd recommend it if you're familiar with the game. The music is spectacular, but the pressing is…not great. Heavier in the left channel than the right, for the duration of the album. Clipping occurs several times throughout the album on several tracks but not most. Seems to be unique to this pressing compared to other albums of mine. Not sure what happened with this.
