“Before Nightmare Kart’s development, I was struggling to find my identity as a musician,” they shared. “However, this game’s strange blend of spookiness, humor, and energy really paved the way forward for the type of music I wanted to make from that point onward. But there’s something evolutionary in its craft — filled to the brim with complex flurries of staccato soundscapes and high-energy, uplifting motifs.
To perfectly complement the vinyl release, Nightmare Kart’s original digital cover artist, Corwyn Pritchard, developed original artwork that captures the essence of the ‘90s kart racer game case perfectly, drenched in a blood red hue.
